Bare Bones are stripped of all meat and marrow and are not smoked. This 7 inch bare bone is 16-20 oz each and for medium to large dogs. Bare Bones are processed in a water solution with the same process used for rinsing beef feet and beef tripe at meat packing plants to save for human consumption. The end result is a slight residual of salt water left on the bone.
